Project allocation

I was working on reactjs project. I was released recently. As I know both reactjs and javascript I am getting javascript calls too. In one of the project, as they urgently required js developers they contacted me which I declined. But they told it will be escalated to my unit head if i did not join and i can also get a release after 2 months. How can I approach this situation?
