My base location is Noida and I work from home because that's what they said that it will work from home. (Year 2022)
I got a project and it was work from home but I have to bear the expenses of travelling to the office for laptop related requirements and fixing issues. (Rs 2000 - Rs 3000 Travel Expenses) I didn't like the approach but it's okay.
I worked hard for a project for almost 2.5 years and in between they put me on the bench twice but I got a project extension so till now I am working for the same project with no recognition and no one motivates or praises me for my contributions.
Again I am going to be on the bench but this time my project senior told me that there is no requirement for me in the project.
I am getting calls for the project requirement and when I told them that I was working from home they are saying that Work from Home is no longer active.
I have a genuine reason to work from home. I complete 5-9 hours in nippon daily and no one wants to listen to the employee.
A company only thinks about the clients and about themselves and by company I mean some senior employees who don't want to listen to the employees who work hard daily so that the company gets what it wants but when it comes to what an employee wants no one wants to listen.
Why is it like this, why does an employee have to suffer all the pain ?
I heard the news about some Ceo wants employees to work 7 days a week, whose mentality is this, does he not have a family because we know what a family is and we all do all this hard work so that we can be with our family take them out for dinner and complete all our responsibilities whether it's for family or its for company.
So why can't you give us Work from Home. We will take care of our family spend some time with children and also fulfill all our duties. What's the issue ?

It's all politicians man they are pushing it, they want ROI on their investments that they have done to these cities. I am going through a similar situation I changed to this company to get WFH yet I'm typing this message from the office.
