Trending @Infosys; Project after IJP selection

Hi, i was selected for an ijp which had a joining date in May(though my unit change happened in july due to HR's negligence). From May i am on bench as this new unit doesn't have much projects at my base location. Now i got one project from a different PU & DU; but the manager was not able to accept my demand due to buffer issue. She told me she will raise a transfer request. My question is will i be able to join the new unit now ?
