Project/account release

I have completed 3 years in the a project. I had asked release multiple times , but manager isn't willing to give me release. Can anyone suggest any way to get release from account?

Escalate to higher management or HR. If that fails, consider reducing work efficiency. Worst case, resign. Your sanity is more important than a stubborn manager.
