Proj. release querries

Can it happen that I am working in a project having works, but manager tries to release me and I defer release, provided I did not asked for release ? If I defer release and give manager the option to allow me work, does that qualify for C, D Band?

If you have good connection with higher management or cross manager then you can do something… even 100% efficient employes are getting C band and you are going against him and expecting A or B. Not possible bro
