What is the logic behind progression? There is no change in the salary or anything else. Only the title changes. I have received progression from Consultant to Senior consultant recently, but not sure what is the benefit.

How much time did it take from consultant to senior consultant? Is it by default or we need to ask manager?

It took 1.5 years for me. Not sure if it's by default. I had asked my manager about it few days before getting it.
