Programming Language For Show-off
Which Programming Language has Your Team or Your Management or Your Company forcefully introduced as part of the ecosystem to Show-off, rather than as a necessity?
Wtf is carbon? Last I checked it was a need for speed game.
It's another potential successor to C++.
Rust/golang are not actually showoff, they are pretty good language is what I know
I am not saying anything about the languages listed, it's just that some things might have worked even with the existing language, but it's just that somebody decided to use a new language to show-off, that's all.
I think you should change the options like from—>> to and ask pros and cons and you will get better response. If you compare rust vs java, rust can run the same application in half or lesser hardware resources compared to java
Also, if it doesn't reveal much information, try to mention which language was the predecessor before the new language was used. For example: The part of the system was initially written in Java and now GoLang is used for most of the writes.
