I had proficiency P2 in one of the skill set and got mails to give further assessments to increase . First of all these new assessments need camera on . Then i scores what who knows it became P1 from P2 Why should i give assessments when its degrading my proficiency. First of all work life is so hectic then all this drama then managers saying proficiency score is imp for consideration for promotions do it then we so its degraded to lower level and support has no answer
I will tell you the fact: even if you score P3+, it is still tough to get promoted, but at least you have a chance if your manager can push for you in the moderation call.
I know its all fake attempt by management not to ask promotions and keep our mouth shut
It won't become P1. If you score less then your current proficiency remains same. But it will expire after 2 years from when your initially gave.
It did change from p2 to p1 in my case
