Product Manager vs Product Marketing Manager
I wanted to understand the difference between the roles of PM and PMM, skills and stakeholders wise. Anybody who has transitioned from PM to PMM and your thoughts on it??

All paths lead to product (manager). You don’t want to be a pmm. It’s a very unstructured role and definition changes in every company.
You want to be in a role in which hierarchy is clear. Should pmm report to cmo or cpo? Who will sponsor the projects?

I think Airbnb has made all their PMs —> PMMs so it depends actually.
