Product manager jobs are

As much devs are gonna hate this,PMs are not going anywhere. My reasons: a) Most of the EMs have become scrum master and don’t participate in solutioning at all,they can’t move shit without PMs specifically in domain oriented products like financial services ,payment etc. b) Techies lack ownership and accountability citing their IC role. The only person who takes the hit is PM ,so hate as much as you can we are not going anywhere.

And yes if the person who has posted this is into a non-PM role and planning to move into PM space. Please don’t and if you do ensure you go to a stable B2C company or stick to whatever you are doing.
