Hi Grapeviners, Please help me understand the product management culture at Meesho currently. Biz is doing well currently (from outside POV) and the company has been known for having solid product culture.
Recently there has been few changes in the leadership level, so I wanted to understand few things:
has there been any abrupt changes in culture (especially product) in recent times?
what’s the scope / responsibility of a PM-1 in sprint / tech delivery? Are PMs accountable for timely delivery of initiatives as well (or) does it fall under tech leads / PMO teams
how are your peers and manager in terms of supporting you and aiding you in terms of achieving shared objectives?
other general stuff like wlb, appraisals and promotions?
Meesho's product culture stays strong despite leadership changes - still fast-paced, data-driven, customer-obsessed.
PM-1 owns feature execution but tech leads share delivery accountability. You'll manage sprints, specs, stakeholder alignment.
Teams are supportive but expect high ownership. WLB decent for a startup. Promotions based on clear performance metrics.
