Product Design Referrals
I have been job searching for the past month. I have been reaching out for referrals to product designers in companies with openings. I have noticed a lot of them don’t even respond!!
I had reached out to designers at a major e-learning company that provides online ‘courses’. From the 4 designers I have reached out to, received only 1 response where the designer straight away refused to give a referral.
I find this very strange. I have been going out of my way to refer designers and non-designers in the past 10 years of my professional life. The engineering community seems to doing much better at this.
Did anyone here come across a similar experience?

Most deisgners just bluff bro , nobody gives a shit. They all are just moral trees on linkdin.
