Product based company or service based company?

CTC offered - 22.5 YOE - 2.3

Hello guys I am currently working at a service based company and have got a good offer from a product based company.

The issue is my current company wants to retain me at any cost. Matching the offer from product based. The work here is not so good.. learning is stagnant. The manager and culture is chill, no fixed office timings.

What should I do? Should I join product based or get retained?? Will the tag of product based company help me in future? Please help me...

It is better to switch to product based company since you have stagnant learning in current company. Also, in future, because of product based company’s tag you would get much better offers in next switch.

Stay if they are matching. Do you trust the company not do a double cross later?

They would burden me with multiple projects and expect me to work really hard and do even night shifts if I stayed in my service based company

Since salary are same consider the learning now . If you can learn in ur service based company and can switch after 3 to 5 years then well and good . If your growth is stagnent then no use of getting retained

Stay in service based as less lay offs compared to product based. Market is not good, layoffs can come from right and left in product based companies.
