Process of Doing PHD in tcs

Currently working in TCS as an HR executive, I have a total experience of 3 years, Now I want to do PHD while working in TCS can anyone help me to know the process?

I remember reading something like PhD is only for those in CTO unit. I could be wrong. Read that policy
