Process for resignation

I am on bench and wanted to resign. What is the process. Can you please let me know and how early they can release me since I wanted to join other company ASAP

Just email your HRBP and Spoc RMG plus the manager. Its that simple.

Subject: Resignation - Day 0

Dear Manager and RMG,

Thank you for the lovely experience at TCS. But time has come for me to pursue my next phase of career.

Please consider this as my resignation email and day - 0 initiation of NP. Looking forward to a smooth offboarding process.

Won't the day you resign be day 1? I am genuinely not aware. I thought considering someone resigns today, they will mention +89 days from today as your last day.

Also, how does one actually find the HRBP whom we should email when resigning?
