Trending @Cognizant; Process for Associate to SA?
Guys, I joined CTS as Associate in November 2021 and from day one I am billable and working in the same project till date. Now they have released one senior developer from my p roject and all his responsibilities is handed over to me. I talked to my manager he is telling some process (IVF not sure the name) is there to get promoted in the same project It will some time etc etc. and told me to wait for 1month. Is this correct? What is process to promoted?

Keep following up with your manager. Atleast twice a month. Same scenario took 7 months. If manager is not responding positively (start looking at IJM)
Same thing with me, I am waiting from March. One day they say it is pending is BU head, next day they say the process has changed and we have initiated a fresh case and now they say it is pending with HR
