Procedures to get onsite opportunity for US project
I have been with TCS for the last 3years and allocated in one US project, but I am looking for an onsite opportunity. What are the procedure to get an onsite opportunity?
It's really up to your managers to provide acknowledgement and your skill. And getting a visa for the US is not that easy as compared to 8-10 years back. And clients need to approve as well as this would be expensive for them as well as they need to pay as per their location and how important role you have in their project. And onsite opportunities are getting reduced. And more factors come in when it comes to onsite opportunities.
I already have US visa but my manager dint send me saying you have to wait. And was not giving any date. He was fooling me since 1.5 years.
They just want to make you work for cheap labour as long as possible. They're just giving false hope. Unless you're too important or critical resource, they will just say stay or else leave if you ask for US after you completed your 3 years for them, as they would have gained enough profit from your work. Don't go with words even after seeing their response.
Yeah the same I’m also into US project they say In grade C3A we can try for H1B , and as told many factors will be included if it’s coming for Onsite opportunities
