Have an offer from a company with a probation period of 3 months (SDE) Want to understand the things to be wary of in probation? And how is it evaluated? What has to go wrong to get fired? Heard from a couple of folks it's nothing serious, but the way terms and conditions are defined for probation looks more like something to definitely keep in mind.
Many take this seriously, many don’t. They usually see if you fit in. Your learning progress. If you are able to pick the concepts shown to you.
Try to be friendly with your colleagues. They see how are you as a person. Nothing to be worried about.
3 months is a common practice. As long as you don’t do a worse job there is nothing to worry.
I recently received an offer where they’ve stated I’ll have to join on a 3 months probation period.
