Hikes are based on markets and budget allocated to projects....

What is your primary skill? And the reason for hike?

Hike has got nothing to do with Primary skill.

Let me tell u the hard truth, this is just made up u are getting based on primary skill or whatever everything depends on your performance and manager review. Even if u are not eligible like your chargeability is low or your experience is low or low skill stars or any compliance issue, if your manager wants he can make your promotion possible. I am the live example but yeah your performance should be exceptional soo much that your manager wants to show gratitude. I got hike 2 months back 11% now after 2 months I got promotion with hike 23%. I have some compliance issue my chargeability was low. My manager was literally writting mails to Accenture folks explaining my compliance issue, if there was any other manager he would have simply said oh you have this this issue here so not possible and just should have shut me up or would have said oh u get hike 2 months ago wait for next cycle I will do something those are fake promises. If your manager really recognise your dedication and performance he will straight up give u promotion no one can stop that.

Hike is based on budget allocated by your Project/Client. In your project only people who are working on legacy skillset are gonna receive double figures too
