Previous/current salary

Literally when all the HRs will stop flirting aroud the current/previous salary when a person is genuinely trying to switch the jobs, based on the skills and experience?

I have stopped telling my current pay. If asked, I'll always mention that my expected comp is in this range. It sets the expectations correctly

Me too. Although I've had my fair share of HRs accusing me of whether I'm trying to 3-4x my salary 😂 it's crazy.

I have tried this, but they just won't stop asking until I disclose mybpast salary. Have you faced this too?

People who have voted for 'things are changing' can you disclose which companies were these?

Some big companies, e.g., Novartis, a pharma giant has this process of hiring without asking previous salary. Challenge is that their data is so bad that they continuously give offer that's less than current salary of the talent and they become a laughing stock. These talents are not inflated salary start-up folks, they managed to give lower salary to TCS (pharma service) people & that's an achievement in itself.
