Prepping for My First Solo International Adventure. Any tips?

I'm planning my first solo international trip and I'm equal parts excited and terrified.

Any advice for a first-time solo traveler? How do you balance safety concerns with the desire for adventure?

  1. Carry your documents in original always with you in a waist pouch. Get all your documents attested and leave it in India before flying out.

  2. Stay in a safe place. India is more safe than USA or Ireland or Thailand.

  3. Do a thorough research about where you are going.

  4. Carry an emergency credit card with international access.

  5. Carry printed copies of your itinerary. Check and double check visa requirements and details on visa and passport
