I have been working for a client for the last 4 years. I don't think my efforts are well paid.I am still in Band B1 after 4 years (3 Years in Band B1). Despite working hard for the client, they did not promote me to B2. Also, I want to change my role from QA to DevOps or Python Backend Developer as well as open to other AI based roles. I have 4 years experience in QA and worked with Python as well but also have basic knowledge of FastAPI and data science libraries in Python. Please assist me here with what I can do. All your suggestions will help me a lot. Please help here. It seems I am trapped in a loop.

2.Build your prortfolio
3.Do dev projects
4. Keep looking inside and outside.
Its going to be very hard to switch to a dev role from QA within wipro imo. Look outside wipro for any roles and you can join. Within wipro no PM would select a QA for a dev role i think
Start learning ai from udemy do some project resign from project start looking both inside and outside for an AI related job . If you get a job inside the wipro do one month than resign and start looking outside job in ai
I am switching from QA to SM role and that you can also do it as well SM is good option to move with gaining some technincal knowledge and functional knowledge

Looks like you are a talented resource why do you want to stick on to this company, find options somewhere else you will definitely get paid well with designation
