Whats the salary for power programmer role? Currently i am senior system engineer Should I try for switch the company or try for power programmer?
Please don't go brother/Sister....Because in return for penny they'll expect you to turn water into wine from the day one itself. Every single time they'll give lame logic that we have great expectations from you, so you have to be proficient in backened frontend Cloud Devops and now AI as well.. The condition of few units are so worse that you'll have to work 14 hr on daily basis. So I would tell you to go for a switch rather than bridge because the SP don't deserve this penny for the amount of work they do. You'll get a lot better salary in the same amount of effort.
very apt advice and thanks for pointing out.Earlier I use to think that PP work in teams where all mebers are PP kind of like top tier project team but later came to know there is no such thing.You can be the only one pp in your team since team have budget constraints to onboard pp more than their limit.Hence there might be huge expectations or workload.Like your cliche'turning water to wine' lol biblical reference.
For power programmer you will get min 20-30% according to you current package. Do the power programmer and switch it after you can get almost 70 - 80% hike in single year by adding both.
9.5lpa including variable.

Switch company
You'll get about 56-64k.
