Trending @Cognizant; Power platform and power bi projects

Is anyone here from Cognizant working in Power Apps development, Power Platform, or Power BI? I’m gathering information and would like to know the types of projects and clients Cognizant typically works with in these areas, as well as the kind of tasks handled in day-to-day work. No confidential information is required just general insights would be helpful.

Also, from your experience, how is the market for these skills outside Cognizant? What are the pros and cons of moving into the Power Platform and Power BI domain?

I’m working with Power Automate, and I think learning the entire Power Platform is a great idea. It’s a low-code tool, so you can create solutions with very little coding. With the Power Platform, you can handle automation, build apps, and do data analytics—all in one place.

Since it’s a Microsoft product, it integrates well with other Microsoft services like Office 365 and Azure, which most companies already use. It’s also easy to learn and has strong future potential, especially because many companies are switching from other RPA tools to Power Automate due to lower licensing costs.

With it, you can build custom apps, integrate them into Microsoft Teams, and use Power BI for analytics. I’ve found that compared to other tools, the Power Platform offers more capabilities in one package, making it a smart choice for the future. Go ahead without any hesitation.
