Portfolio bloodbath
Sensex tanked nearly 1000 points today and crude is crossing $100 again... ngl my equity portfolio is looking like an actual murder scene I don't even know if I have the guts to buy the dip right now. Are you guys buying or just closing your apps and pretending everything is fine?
In the longer run, it doesn't matter. Keep SIPping. If you can identify good businesses, sip some stock
solid advice tbh. my automated SIPs are still running, just holding off on any lumpsum stuff for now.
If you need this money within next few years it should not be in equity in the first place.
If you're investing for long term, you're getting stocks at a discount now- buy the dip.
Separate your emotions from the math. Most wealthy people did it the boring way - with time and discipline
If you can't handle these 5 to 10% dips don't even bother investing in equity. Just choose conservative funds like debt or equity savings etc.
Still way too expensive. It should be around 17-18k
