Politics by manager
My manager delayed my ITA promotion for more than 1 year even though I was doing hardwork and I was the only in team to resolve critical issues and to build the team. What should be my approach to have this compensated from manager? Shall is stop working? Or if I stop working..how it will affect my career?

Invest your time where it makes sense. Upskilling, switching etc. If your deliveries are not getting you the appreciation, accolades, compensation that you think you should be getting, first communicate to the manager. If you don't see the ball rolling, read the first line again :)
On a side note, you can stop or decrease the efficiency of work if you see the management turning a deaf ear to your requests. That is one way to incite a conversation.
Start giving interviews of other company and Just tell your manager give me my ITA promotion or i will leave.. If you are a critical resource as you say u are then you will get that in no time.
