Yes! When I joined few years ago back, at the time of joining HR told me that I will get anniversary appraisal. But when I completed 1yr and asked for it, hr told me that policy is removed for lateral joined experienced guys

Well, every time they are short of budget or they don’t want to give us money, they name it business and market requirement.
