Trending @Capgemini; Policy or Politics? How Capgemini Is Forcing Employees Out
It’s becoming more and more clear how Capgemini is treating employees these days. The so-called “strategies” are nothing more than a slow push to lay people off without officially saying it.
Forcing people to come back to office with no project allocation and no job security.
Bench employees being asked to relocate to metro cities, spend from their own pockets on rent or hotels, only to sit unallocated — with no guarantee of a future here.
Salaries aren’t increasing, but expenses are skyrocketing — imagine someone with ~5 years of experience, already on a modest package, being told to burn their savings just to “show presence” in office.
Employees are made to feel guilty for not moving, when in reality Capgemini isn’t offering any financial support or assurance.
And when they can’t find any genuine ground against an employee, they simply make excuses and allegedly accuse employees of breaching policies — just another tactic to push people out.
This is not about “return to office” anymore — it’s about creating pressure so that people leave on their own. It’s corporate politics disguised as policy.
Employees deserve honesty. If the intention is to cut costs by pushing people out, at least say it openly instead of hiding behind strategies that put financial and mental stress on individuals.
The sad truth is: loyalty from employees is expected, but loyalty from Capgemini is no longer guaranteed.

Still on Wednesday u can see queues of newly joined laterals

CG is paying on bench don't say to spent from your pocket

Oh really? Who put us on the bench? Who is responsible for this? I think you’re getting paid quite well just for sitting on the bench, using the money they grab through bulk hiring and by eating into employees’ gratuity. They’ve already swallowed the amounts employees were supposed to receive from US clients, and yet you sit there enjoying the benefits. But what about us — the ones who get nothing? Our salaries are already less, we are kept on the bench as non-billable, and still forced to work on other projects which are not even counted as billable.

True!! I have faced same situation

True!

I agree .i face the same situation recently
