Most of the VC and funded founders keep talking about this. It's such a fraud topic and in my opinion PMF is a regular exercise and happens forever as market also keeps shifting.
Anyone trying to tell you PMF is x, y and z is just as clueless as you are.
I hate that investors talk so much, as if just asking founders is in itself some superpower.

You are right. PMF keeps changing as the market changes as well as with scale. But the first PMF is actually hard to crack. Whenever a wise investor is asking for PMF, they are trying to gauge PMF via your MVP. Founders are generally expected to get the earliest PMF.
