PM interviews: What questions do you generally ask interviewers after the interview?
When asked at the end of the interview, what questions do you generally ask the interviewers? There can be two types of interviewers, one from the PM org and the other from the engineering org (in later rounds) and usually senior folks. What type of questions can be asked to both types of panels?
Ask about a typical day for Product manager at the company. Believe me PM means different things at different companies and many times have very little to do with what they put in JD. Ask specifically on where the PM spends time. Is it on market research, product development, managing engineering (trust me some compa ies dress their engineering manager as PM), customer success, gtm, sales enablement, pre sales, actual sales, post sales support etc. Ensure u have realistic view on what they are offering.
I generally ask about the history and vision of the company for the future
