Why PM interns are paid less which ranges from 10-20k but full time are paid around 80k- 1lakh?

I don't understand why companies here can't pay more than 30K per month for interns. I pitched for somewhere between 40K-45K so they can't seem to consider giving it. I have a good profile for that work too.
