Pls advise me Im broke trying and failing and still one last hope on here

let me start lill about my education I have done B.sc Cs 3years graduation after 12th. I couldn’t able to do b.tech because of financial constrain even I tried to get education loan couldn’t able to get as I didnt had much to show that. I thought of doing CS in b.sc as that was less costly and I was going from home. Since 12th I had intrest in computer Science.

I used to watch youtube vidoes people saying degree doesn’t matter even elon musk clip I saw he mentinoing about degree doesn’t matter so I was happy atleast if i could have good skills then I ll get hired by any company..

I was doing DSA since collage. After collage I directly applied for paypal but unfortuenteltly It didn’t get processed ahead as I didn’t had 4 year degree.

Thats was very dishartening for me. Again I given Tcs nqt . got a job as tcs smart role which offers 1.9LPA . May be this amount was very less but that time I was very happy atleast I could get something.. and tcs offer me to do distant MCA so I did mca while doing mca i got to know about tcs internal wings exam which I cracked and salary increased significantly and went to 7.5LPA . Im very thankfull to tcs for all this.

However as I started persuing CS dream of going to Big product based companies obviously to make big money. So while in tcs i keep in practicing dsa system design even did making rest api in python django framework.

I tried applying many product based companies everytime it just come up with “unfortunetly we wont able to process ahead”

only I got call and interview schedule from IBM and had a call imterview technical round and then finally HR round ..

At last moment i was very happy finally I ll be going to acheive what i was dreaming for..

however before HR round was about to end this is the exact statement what HR said “ you profile is very good and we would happy to take u ahead unfortunetly as u have 12th + 3 years degree but we require 12+ 4 year degree so unfotunetly we wont able to proceed” I tried adding “ I have done master 2 years add that to 3 years he was like sorry distant learning we don’t consider..

I heard this and got shattered. i was thinking what matters alot? degree or skills?

I realised all those people are lier on social media which say degree doesn’t matter!

since I would have mailed applied 100+ companies Im not sure why I didnt get call back from them?

can someone advise what should i do from here ?

shall i continue in tcs or is there any hope of light to switch in product based companies.

ps: Pls dont be rude in comment as im already going through alot! u can point out what mistake im doing or how should i approch ahead?
