I got a chance for developer role in some internal project and they say 4days/week wfo and should be flexible to work on extended hours? Do you think should I go as it improves domain knowledge or will it eat way my worklife balance?

No. Flexible means you have to extend beyond working hours.

If it's internal project then why 4 days wfo? I am part of internal unit CIO. We don't have such restrictions.
