Please please read and give your inputs

When Tcs asked to RTO I started 3 days a week from March 2023, I realised I should switch from BPS to IT completed AWS practitioner and solutions architect and power BI and scrum master certification, sent an email for release but my manager and his manager did not release me 1 year and I wrote to HR head and BUHr but still got released in 2024 July, I was even denied leaves and harrassed I took so much tension I am taking bp medicine, an I am now 35 now I got the released and got a suppt IT project but don't feel like continuing because 5 days, daily commute and don't like or want to live in Pune.

is it the right decision to leave TCS and work in a small city in a mall or shop or try in a bank or maybe some remote job. Please give me some valuable inputs or suggestions opinion will be appreciated.

It’s clear that your situation has been stressful and has taken a toll on your mental and physical health. Here’s a thoughtful analysis to help you decide:

  1. Prioritize Health: If TCS and Pune's lifestyle are harming your well-being, leaving is valid. Chronic stress isn't worth it.

  2. Financial Stability: Ensure you can meet expenses before switching. Remote IT jobs (AWS, Power BI, Scrum) or bank roles in smaller cities can provide balance.

  3. Career Options:

Remote Work: Use your certifications to find flexible IT jobs on LinkedIn or freelance platforms.

Small City Roles: Banks or local businesses offer stability if IT feels overwhelming.

  1. Plan the Transition: Secure a job or opportunity before leaving TCS. Consider therapy to handle stress during this period.

Leaving is the right decision if it improves your health and happiness, but plan carefully for financial and career continuity.
