Trending @Accenture; Please help me to make a decision
I will complete 3 years in August 2025. I got only 8% hike so far. People Lead is saying the same word and not promising about promotion and how much much hike will get in the June 2025 cycle. They are saying that they have budget constraints but I heard that they are hiring new people.
I'm working in a different BU ( business unit) and the project manager is happy with my work and he is recommending me for promotion from the last 2 cycles. Now, my BU is trying to pull me in there and giving a support type of project but I have worked 2 years as a proper developer on same. Why should I work as support role now?
I'm confused about what I should do now. I'm thinking four scenarios

If I refuse to work on a support role and move to my BU. It might impact the promotion and hike.

If I accept work then, a new project manager will come and I don't know how they will give feedback and all and it also impacts the promotion.

If I negotiate a hike before moving to the BU in such a way that I will only work again in BU if you will provide me xy % hike now and you can give me dry promotion in the upcoming cycle. If they won't agree then I will tell them to release me from their BU.

Last option will be to submit paper and it will end on last May 2025 and promotion will be announced on Jun 2025. I don't have any offer letter yet and I'm not getting a call either.
Please help me to make a decision
