Digital C1 candidate, in a development project doing all from scratch coding to Devops to Prod deployment. Now... at this moment, I am feeling helpless, crying inside and not able to express the pain I am feeling 😭 I want to relocate to my hometown. I want to be with my mom and dad. I am feeling very lonely here now. I have no one. Even my friend is leaving and going to his hometown. I am totally broken 😭
They didn’t even give me a good rating even after making me work on my holidays, made me work for extra hours, made me work on my weekends, made me work on my sick leave, made we work when I met with an accident and still, my health in 1 year had deteriorated a lot and still I got 3.5! 😭
I swear I don't deserve this! This world is very bad! I want to go far away from this world 😭 I have always been nice to everyone! Why was I made to deserve this 😭 Please help me get a relocation 😭
I will complete one year in March. My project ODC is not there in my hometown. I want to go to my hometown and work from there. Please people help me with how I can do this so that they actually agree? 😭🙏🏻
Tell them u have medical issue or stop working they will release u and find another project and explain them ur problem or wanted to work from home
I am sorry but I really need a solution,
- For medical issue what can I show that would really work.
- If I take release, how will I even get a project which would be actually there in Bhubaneswar? (Because currently I am in a different city)
- What reason can I give to actually get a full WFH which will genuinely work?

• Look for internal openings in the desired city. • Reach out directly to hiring managers. • Get your current project to release you ,And lastly find ur market value put paper and join other organisations
This is the most common issue everyone has faced in their early career and sadly there is no choice be it tcs or any other it company. So better to plan your work from home exceptions and leave carefully and meet your parents each quarter.
Trust me switching places and Projects are not the best solution for you as you are just the fresher . I WOULD suggest you to first stop working for ratings you need to work with a mindset of learning and moving out second and most important thing you need a partner. TRY to make very good friend of opposite Gender you will not feel alone.
I had the exact similar feeling 10 years ago when I was a fresher and with above 2 solution my life became easy
I think transfer will be initiated after 2 years of experience. You can take release from project and try to search in EXOP/KNOME for projects that are not in your location. This way you will get WFO exception.
Nowadays, if the project is not available in your base location they don't hire people. I faced this last year.
Do not take so much pressure, if you are really feeling suffocated, then put papers. Because I know what feeling is this and gone through a similar situation. Make the use of leaves, take breaks and find other opportunities. This is the only way. Because here, getting work from home nowadays is somehow difficult and I know doing so much work and not even being appreciated and not getting good hike is kind of demotivating you. Do not worry, just find place where your skills and time will be valued. If you want stay with parents find job which officially has work from home or find good company at your native place.
