Please advise and don't judge
I am from non-tech background, joined tcs on BPS role worked there for almost 4 years and later moved to IT and working as an Operations Lead from past 3 years. No promotions yet as the promise made by the higher management. So, now one manager wants to pull me in Service Management role and other Manager asked me if I want to go for any technical tower. I am not much enjoying the Management role. So, please advise still do I have to go for Management role or should I join technical tower for time being as I really want to switch company because of lower package. I m in my 30's. Plz guide.
You can opt for technical path, but will you be comfortable there? Decide based on what you are good at. If you are confident of getting into a technical path and are confident to cope it up - go for it.
You have to do that without really having second thoughts. That is the best solution to all your problems
