Please advice, What is a support project, what are defferent teams in IT

I have recently joined a support project, I was working in a BPS project for last 5 years I am unable to understand what is ERM release and there is so much in the emails there are no trainings I am unable to understand what to do and what to learn what to Focus on I like cloud computing..

No learnings in support project. It's just monotonous work like you used to do in BPS

What to do now, I heard people can get 15 20 LPa even 40 LPA is that possible can I earn that much even if I get to earn 40LPA for 1 year I can buy a house in my hometown
