Planning to switch Mobile Dev to Fullstack

I have been android developer from past 4 years. and 4 years is my total experience. I am based of India. While I do see the need of mobile engineers, but when to comes to complexity l do not think its same as backend or actual platform. Problem is mainly salary of switching. I am not sure if I can get same package at 4 years of experience if I switch from mobile engineer now because I will still be novice. One thing I think, may be get into FAANG, become generic software engineer there and then you can switch to another role.

It would be grateful If I could get suggestions from others on this, whether they have tried the switch and what help you guys
