Planning to resign without offer

HI everyone, I’m thinking of resigning from my job without an offer in hand. I’m comfortable with DSA and low-level design, but I know I need to improve high-level design. I’m already preparing for interviews, and I am confident that I will be able to get a decent job before my notice ends. Do you think it’s a good idea to resign first and then job hunt, or should I wait until I get a an offer? I’d love to hear your advices considering current job market. More about me: 8 yrs experience, 19LPA,.net technology.

Don't do it. Get an offer, then resign. Exceptions are there, ofc.

Btw why do you wanna resign without offer

Too much pressure at work, not able to prepare well for intervoews with strict project timelines. So thinking will resign and prepare well.

Also I have 3 month notice period, so thinking will be able to find a job by then.

Big risk man. Better you start taking less workload for a few weeks and prep interviews in your free time.

If you do decide to resign first make sure you have a cash pile that covers 6 months to 1 year of expenses

Why don't you want to look for job opportunities while staying in the company?

Is it because of the notice period? Because of which you aren't getting any calls?

I am not fully able to focus on preparation because of project dealines, have a strong feeling that if i put down papers I can concentrate on preparation delivering very minimal at work.

Bro… just get an offer no!!! How hard is it for you. If you consider yourself as good at dsa and lld. Atleast go for companies like IBM,HCL,Delloite or other get an offer … or witch companies are there. Then in next 90days get a good offer then switch. If you resign without offer that wd be very risky. Because nowadays companies are looking for good tech skill with low budget candidates.
