Planning to Resign

I am having 3.6 yrs of experience, actively looking for a job change, getting calls from recruiters but every time after learning about my 90 days notice period they lose interest.

I am thinking of resigning and start looking for a job while serving the notice period. I need suggestions from you all:

  1. Is it a good idea
  2. If not, then how to tackle the notice period thing.

bad idea.

Once you say you have resigned those bastards will low ball you. Even if you don't say that, they will know when you say anything less than 90 days.

Unless you have some great skill that is much needed for them.

don't do it. the 90-day notice is a filter, not a blocker, for companies that are serious. resigning first just tells the next company you're available for a discount. you're looking for a better job, not just any job.
