Planning to Leave TCS

I have joined Tcs as a fresher. But here all the calls I got was support project calls. One day suddenly I got a call from a project manager and told it was development project and I trusted him and joined the project.

But I got to know it is a support role after few days. My only work is to send mails to the people to a different teams.

I've had a good experience in MERN stack.Though I'm into this support project I'm getting this feeling like slowly I'm losing all my skills.

So, planning to leave tcs after 3 months(i.e.,1 year). Would it be hard to switch to a product based company after this 1 year of support experience??

Getting calls for 1yr exp is really hard unless you have very good references.
If you ask me my suggestion: up skill yourself in your interested area of tech this year continuously and keep preparing for interview point of view.

With 2+ you will have better chances of getting more calls. Now the market is very dry.

I agree with this. And please keep practicing those MERN TECHNOLOGY daily till you get job offers , keep making projects ,make a portfolio, make new connections which will help you for referral in future

Nothing will happen. We will think like that but nothing changes. You dint know, there are bleed blue ultimate loyalty TCSers who wanted to die while in TCS. So things will go on as it is. There might be attrition after the hikes . Whoever is lucky enough to get through some good jobs will be escaping that's it.

1 year experience is equal to fresher..that is best time to switch if you already have good skills ..any company will hire you . It Will become more difficult later on

When you are not sure about the project ask them to send you a mail everything writing on it about technology and skill set needed for project .
