I agree with Automatic part.
For HYD traffic and since you still don't know how to drive. Would suggest a small car with low maintenance.
Buy Spresso or Alto automatic. Learn to drive on it. Easy to drive and park. Sell it within 3 years. Upgrade to something stylish. Money saved can be utilised to spend extra on next car.
If you have a requirement for a large vehicle 6/7 seater for family, right now.
Then buy Ertiga Automatic. Great Family car and excellent for intercity drives. Comes with 4 cylinder engine 1500cc engine. CVT Transmission.
Both cars fit within your budget.
If you can stretch your budget by 1-2 lakhs.
Buy a small automatic for city driving and buy Ertiga for Weekend runs and intercity. Provided you have parking for 2 cars.
