Placements pressure

Hey I am I am third year of my engineering in tier 3 college and did mid level dsa and worked on few basic projects looking at the layoffs it feels like i will never get a job and my resume to is not strong .What should I learn to upskill myself in year 2025 .what is the scenario of off campus placements. Please can anyone help me out with this.
