Pivot - Career Advice

I have 8 years of experience in backend development and have a couple of years experience in UI(React) development. Looking into the AI trend, I am thinking of taking a pivot to AI.

What I thought is that I will start learning Python as the core language and then follow the same process as DSA(using Python), SD, ML.

I want to have a stable career and this is what I feel would be the right approach. Please suggest.

I am taking a timeline of 1 year and in this I want to pivot along with my current job.
