Pitching to Exit fund was a good experience

Appreciation post for exit fund. We did initiate due diligence and they were interested in following a lead investor, but they ultimately backed down.

Team was good, pertinent and detailed questions asked, no judgement whatsoever. Even gave feedback and reason for backing down. Still in touch.

All in all very nice experience, all other VCs and funds should learn from them.

PS: in case you want to pitch, go through their thesis and portfolio carefully and see if your startup matches what they're looking for or not. it will make things much easier and faster for you.

Also, they didn't charge us anything for due diligence or anything else at all, very transparent and honest. Often times platforms, funds and middlemen will want to charge you for due diligence (anywhere from 5-10k upto 50k).

That's how it should be but the market is filled with rent seekers and service people disguised as potential investors.
