Trending @Infosys; PIP? What to do?
I have been with Infy for 4.8 years now. Joined as Associate Consultant and currently as SA Consultant with on average ‘Met Expectations’ and decent hikes over the course of duration. However, in ‘24 appraisal cycle my ex-Manager gave me “Needs Improvement” and released me from the project. Now, I am in new project for past 6 months. 4 days back my new manager said that due to “NI” rating in the last cycle, I would have to undergo a PIP. So question is if I fail PIP would they terminate me or ask me force resign?

Run from infy bro

Get ur current manager on ur side and make him give u easy goals in pip,ur basically at mercy of ur manager now

If you are a new project the chances of you failing PiP is remote. You will be given two choices take PiP or take immediate release with 5 months salary. Since you are on a billable project and doing a decent job manager will not want to lose. But if you are not doing a good job manager can use this opp to chuck you out by giving difficult goals. So check with him on your performance this far . It will help you decide which option to take. Taking PiP and failing means immediate termination without any notice period or pay

Can you please tell me more about this two choices. So if I get NI as my review .. I’ll have an option to go into PIP or get out immediately with 5 months pay?

Been in the same situation. If you are in a project, then it shouldn't be a worry. Your current manager has to set you goals which should be met in a span of 2 months. Just elaborate your manager about his situation and ask him to set a fair goal. Once you have done that, you are good to go. But you won't be receiving any Performance bonus of any for this year if any.
make it 5 years total exp and apply for other jobs..

Search for other job

Leave Infosys they are treating employees like Refugees and slaves
