Trending @Accenture; PIP question / unreasonable task
I have got PIP from my previous project. I am in a different project now and they are going to initiate PIP. I had a call today with Hr and my manager. They told me about certain objectives and one of them is to get P2 proficiency in one of my secondary skill. I have already P3 in my primary skill. I told them I can’t take any proficiency test but if they give me practical task I will do it because in proficiency test if I get any lower rating then the objective will be marked as partially met or not met. HR gave me 2 options: either get P4 in primary skill and P1 in secondary or second option: only get P2 in secondary as I told her that it is hard to go beyond P3.
What should I do? I am working on a client project and work is given to me daily by client itself. Everything is going well and their is no complaint from client.
What should I do? Will they change objective of proficiency if I refuse to accept it or will they terminate me? (Which I think chances are low because they have to justify the client as I have recently started working on client project for last 2 months and the client is investing his time / money to train me)
Please guide. Reply urgently as the call is scheduled again tomorrow and I have to inform the HR. I already talked to my Sr. Manager they told they will not be able to change the objective but asked me to keep positive attitude. (Although the PIP plan is not submitted in portal y
P2 is easy for secondary skill, go for it
Dear it doesn’t matter if it is primary or secondary skill. I have P3 in Agile project management and they are asking me to get P2 in Agile “Program “ management which I am not sure as I have not worked at program level.
Is there any objective ahd they given apart from Proficiency and also what time did they allowed you to do so?
It will run for 4 weeks and there are 4 objectives. One of them is proficiency test. Other objectives seems to be achievable as I have to make PPT and do Percipio trainings.
I got P2 in mycompetency skill and completed all percipio trainings but in the knowledge sharing session my manager told the session was not upto the mark and expectations so he gave “partially met” rating. Will I be still able to clear PIP as I told my manager that I don’t want to work on remaining tasks but he told me the outcome would be decided on overall objective performance.
I have cleared 2 tasks in 1st week itself. Clear Percipio training courses and get P2 in a test. I have completed both. We had a review call with HR this week and HR asked my supervisor to update the review feedback on tool but he is not updating it. What should I do? If he gives feedback I can know if to work on further rasks or not. If he gives negative remarks I will not put my efforts in remaining tasks. I asked him to update but he told to continue working on remaining tasks instead of worrying about feedback.
