Trending @Capgemini; PIP policy, negative feedback & Termination

What is the PIP policy here and why do people are made to get into PIP. What is negative feedback . And why do people are asked to terminate their employment. And what is the waiting period for all these? Some say the duration is 1 month and some say it's 3 or 6 months while on the bench.

PIP or BOTP is for people with long time on bench or with low performance.

If you are lateral hire then make sure you get tagged in project within 3-6 months of joining else they put you on some training and if you still do not get any project tagging, you are put on BOTP and if the outcome is negative they terminate the employment.

Similar is the case for freshers but I believe they are put on BOTP if they are not billable within a year or so.

Lateral hires are usually hired on higher salaries and if they do not get tagged in project their salaries are reducing the profit margins. Hence BOTP.

Thanks a lot for the insights. I joined on Jan 24 to Capgemini and to the project as a Flutter Developer. But after 3 months I got released since the requirements changed. Hence I was wondering what's next.
