Trending @Infosys; Pip on pregnancy
Hi i got NI rating for oct 24 to sept 25 cycle , out of which i joined the company in jan 25 and from feb to july i was in project and had recieved many appreciations and linked in endorsements. August i was in bench and in sept i got a project but they were not able to start allocation as i was blocked my some other team . Which wasted the whole September for me. So 2 months of bench and 6 months of project with no complaints and negative feedback. I raised req for wfh as doctor suggested in early pregnancy hr did not accept saying bench employess are not allowed to wfh either take leave or go on loss of pay. Delivery manager also didnt respond to mails or teams pings. After 3 weeks of this i got ni rating i tried denying the rating but manager convinced me to take it as a learning curve, then i didnt know pip was a consequence . At the end of dec i got pip mail and raised a concern with hr about rating she said we cant change the rating as it was more than 7 days later that I raised the concern. Today they have called and said to attend a in person meeting to discuss performance evaluation. Being 4 pregnant and pip is a very huge stress and it would affect my maternity benefits if they ask to leave or anything else. Any suggestions or tips ??

They could also ask you to quit. Let them know of your pregnancy. Hr policies must be lenient during pregnancy

We live in a tough world, but nothing is more important than your health and an unborn child. Infosys should be ashamed. The current approach of senior management shows a serious lack of empathy. They are of sick mentality.

Sbse jhat company me se ek h ye

You can sue them, collect all the proofs, NI due to pregnancy

Would they consider keeping the pip goals reasonable considering pregnancy

@UncommonWardrobe14 the rating was given by the manager who when you are in project.rating is the biggest scam in infy..as per my knowledge and what i heard from senior folks hrs and delivery managers are desiding that NI and UP rating should be given to 10 percent of people.so managers blindly choosing the people who released recently and in some cases they are asking team leads to put some escalation on the candidates and later they are using that reason to keep the employee in NI.
So point no 1 .don't get demotivated as the rating is not the original one. Point no 2. Hrs will connect with you and give the option to either face the pip or they could ask you to put the paper as compensation they will give you 5 months salary Point no 3. As per your health conditions choose wisely what you have to opt. Point no 4.forget about job for some months and enjoy your pregnancy with your family. Point no 5.if you don't want to loose job want to stay in infy face pip.it will be easy..few of my friends face this last year.manager will set some goals for you .you have to finish 3 goals successfully out of 5.talk to your manager and request him to give simple goals like complete some behavioural trainings and ask him to give simple courses which you already well known.most probably they will not put any exam or interview you have to just finish the goals.
All the best
